One of my favorite books is The River Why by David James Duncan. http://www.amazon.com/River-Why-David-James-Duncan/dp/0553344862 So, I was pleased they were making it into a movie, much to the dismay of many avid fishers. It was shown this afternoon at the Bend Film Festival. Decent adaptation, but I certainly miss the descriptions and little stories within it.
