It's been a nice relaxing day after two hard days of driving.  While eating breakfast at the Air Force Lodge, we started chatting with a nice couple driving from Alaska as well.  Turns out the hubby just retired from Alyeska Pipeline, and the wife worked at Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center!  We talked about their new building and exciting changes.  What a small world.

We stopped at Liard Hot Springs for a couple of hours today and enjoyed the super warm water and sunny weather.

We also hit a grand slam with wildlife viewing today.  Here's a rundown of the animals we saw in just 330 miles of driving today:

- Moose
- 100 buffalo (yes, 100!)
- Ten caribou on the road
- Nine Big Horn Sheep on the road
- Black bear
- Fox sitting on a concrete divider

Ft. Nelson did not have much for vacancies, so we ended up at the Blue Bell Inn.  It's a funny little hotel attached to a gas station, laundromat, cafe and more.  What's most important is they have Food Network and the best cable channels thus far on the trip.  Chopped, Diners Drive Ins and Dives, and more.  YEAH!!

My phone does not work here in Canada, but I promise to turn it on as soon as we hit the States.  My thumbs miss texting.
